Dr. Henne has over 30 years of experience in mental health counseling including community health, inpatient and outpatient treatment, Head Start and school-based programs, BHRS Wrap-Around child and adolescent services and college counseling.
Additionally, Dr. Henne has provides consultation and training for teachers, parents, social workers and mental health personnel. She completed a predoctoral internship at Yale Child Study Center within the Yale School of Medicine in 1986, and earned her doctorate in Psychology from Penn State University in 1995 and has been in private practice since 2004.
She provides services to children, adolescents, adults and couples. She treats a wide variety of concerns including child behavioral issues, reactive attachment, ADHD, developmental disorders, depression, anxiety, stress and life adjustment and marital/relationship issues. She employees a broad base of proven research based interventions with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
