William Bowman, M.A
Licensed Psychologist
William Bowman is a licensed psychologist and has been in private practice since 1993. He has worked in the state hospital system, community mental health system, schools and university settings. He provided specialized in-home training and treatment of children with developmental disabilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He has presented training on the neuropsychology of disability disorders, the impact of technology on the emotional and social aspects of functioning and the bio-psychosocial aspects of interpersonal relationships.
He has training and experience treating marital/couple relationships, child behavioral disorders, parent-child relationships, adolescent development issues, depression, anxiety, sexual disorders, panic disorder, personal enrichment, and executive/entrepreneurial development.
William Bowman is an interactive solution-focused therapist. His approach is to listen attentively and provide practical and feasible feedback to jointly develop workable solutions to the issues of concern. He utilizes techniques and methodologies that are tailored to each client’s personal needs. He works with each individual to utilize their strengths and attain the personal growth they are seeking.
