Dave SNyder, M.S., LPC

Dave has been working in the mental health field for twenty-one years. He was introduced to the profession by spending seven years in residential treatment facilities while obtaining his undergraduate degree from York College. After completing his degree, Dave served as a mental health and drug and alcohol clinician for The Student Assistance Program (SAP) for eleven years, supporting school districts in both York and Adams County.
In addition, Dave has three years of experience counseling adults with drug and alcohol issues and ten years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum. He earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling from McDaniel College and joined Bowman and Associates after receiving his licensure in 2022.
Dave’s primary areas of focus include addressing anxiety and depression, autism spectrum disorders, relationship concerns, self-esteem and self-confidence, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. He employs an eclectic approach, combining person-centered therapy with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and existential components, tailored to meet each client’s specific needs and help them achieve their therapeutic goals.
